The 911 Telecommunicators course is a joint 40-hour course to teach basic 911 and dispatch to entry level persons interested in working in Emergency Services. The course will teach basic principles of communication and dispatching for Law Enforcement, Fire and Medical emergencies. Special emphasis will be provided for difficult calls such as traumatic events, disabled or special circumstances often encountered with dispatching emergency events.
