Coming off an exhibition game at University of Missouri-Columbia, the women’s basketball team is now sitting at 2-0 after the MIAA/NSIC Tournament in Hays, Kansas over the weekend.
The women beat Upper Iowa University on Friday, Nov. 9, 67-58, and Southwest Minnesota State University 82-70 on Saturday. In the game against Southwest Minnesota, the Griffons shot better than 48 percent from the field and close to 47 percent from the three-point range.
Next up, the Griffons play Truman State University at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13 in Kirksville. Their first home game will be this coming Saturday, Nov. 17 at 1:30 p.m. against Regis University.
