Men’s and women’s basketball both had games over the fall break.
The men wrapped up a five-game road trip with a victory on Nov. 26 against William Jewell 78-75, and that win snapped a three-game losing skid. They are now standing at 5-4. Their next game, the MIAA opener, is at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6 at home against Lindenwood University.
The women’s game against William Jewell featured 10 ties and 11 lead changes and went into overtime, but the Griffons were defeated 68-61. They now stand at 3-4 and will play next at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 6 in the fieldhouse.
