The Jazz Program of the Missouri Western School of Fine Arts will present its annual Fall Jazz Concert, Thursday, November 21. The concert will feature a performance by the MWSU Jazz Ensemble. The concert will showcase classic jazz literature as well as new contemporary literature by today’s leading writers.
The Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Bob Long, will feature literature from the libraries of many of the great ensembles, such as the Count Basie library, as well as fresh new arrangements of classic tunes of Thelonious Monk and Harold Arlen.
