Event Guidelines
The City of St. Joseph has prohibited large events and gatherings for at least eight weeks, joining nationwide efforts to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. In compliance with this order, Missouri Western has suspended events and gatherings through at least May 15.
We also strongly discourage any non-essential meetings or events on or off campus. Meetings or events of any size should be reconsidered, and remote collaboration tools should be used instead. If you shift to a virtual event format, please be sure to let Marketing & Communications know, so they can post details about how your audience can still participate and engage. If you have questions about rescheduling your event, please contact Scheduling Services directly.
Remember this is an evolving situation. For events scheduled after May 15, you will need to let your participants know that you might need to cancel at the last minute and that they should make contingency plans just in case.
