IT Services has compiled a set of resources for employees describing how to access essential services while working remotely at griff.vn/remote.

Many of the services require the installation and usage of a VPN (Virtual Private Network) client on the remote computer. Instructions may be found on the website.

At this time, all employees have been authorized to use the VPN service. It is the employee’s obligation to ensure that antivirus/antimalware software is properly installed and up-to-date on any personal technology assets used for remote work purposes.

Use of the VPN connects your remote computer to the Missouri Western network, and it is possible for a compromised computer to attack other devices on the MWSU network even though some safeguards are in place.
