Jacob wanted to get involved, so he revived a student organization associated with his career field.
Jacob Metzinger came to Missouri Western to study Construction Engineering Technology.
“I love it here. The University works with students to make sure we get a well-rounded education,” he said.
Jacob wanted to get involved, so he revived a student organization associated with his career field – the Associated General Contractors of Missouri Western State University. Because of his experience with AGC, Jacob started networking while still a student.
“It’s a great way to meet professionals who can help me with my job search when I graduate,” relates Jacob. “As the Vice President of AGC, I have spoken with several companies in my degree field, as well as built relationships with other students and professors in the Department of Engineering Technology.”
Missouri Western gives students like Jacob the chance to learn and get involved to achieve their goals.
