Sharon Blynn is an “actorvist,” writer, and founder of “Bald Is Beautiful,” an ovarian cancer awareness organization dedicated to empowering women and girls to define their beauty and wholeness on their own terms. She has appeared on TV and in films, and performed on stages in New York and Los Angeles, as well as sharing her Bald Is Beautiful message all over the world. Most recently, Sharon played the role of Skrull alien Soren (wife to Ben Mendelsohn’s Talos) in Captain Marvel and Spider-Man: Far from Home for Marvel, and Red Wizard Dimitra Flass in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. She has also appeared on TV’s This Is Us (NBC), The Detour (TBS), Body of Proof (ABC), Shameless (Showtime), and Lie to Me (Fox), and she hosted the PBS documentary, The Whisper: The Silent Crisis of Ovarian Cancer, and the Revlon Pink Pony Foundation “Let’s Talk About Cancer” podcast. Sharon’s recent honors include receiving BraveHeart Women’s Courage Award and the Lilly Tartikoff/EIF Hope Award and being named a Revlon Role Model and Lifetime TV “Remarkable Woman,” among others. Sharon is over-the-moon excited to be here with all of you this afternoon!
