What is the Black & Gold Transfer Scholarship?
The Black & Gold Transfer Scholarship is different from other scholarships
The Black & Gold Transfer Scholarship is valid for up to six (6) consecutive fall and spring semesters, as long as you:
- Remain in good academic standing (2.0 cumulative GPA);
- Engage in full-time undergraduate study each semester (12 or more credit hours excluding CED and audited coursework); and
- Have not previously earned a bachelor’s degree.
*If you end up not qualifying based on the requirements above, this award will be cancelled. All changes to scholarship awards will be finalized at the end of the add/drop period.
Who is eligible?
Transferring in 12 to 59 credit hours? Students with 12 to 59 transfer credit hours will be evaluated on the basis of their cumulative post-secondary GPA. Students with a GPA between 2.9 GPA & 3.24 will receive an award of $750. Students with a GPA of a 3.25 and higher will receive an award of $1,500.
Transferring in 60 to 108 credit hours or more? Students with 60+ credit hours will also be evaluated on the basis of their cumulative post-secondary GPA. Students with a GPA between 2.5 GPA & 2.89 will receive an award of $750. Students with a GPA between 2.9 GPA & 3.24 will receive an award of $1,500. Students with a GPA of a 3.25 and higher will receive an award of $2,250.
