It can be challenging to narrow down which major to choose, especially when there are so many majors to choose from. Missouri Western has grouped these major choices into Focus Areas to help with this process. Focus Areas are a cluster grouping of majors that have related courses and careers. Please note that a specific Focus Area might include majors from more than one college or school.

Below are the six Focus Area options with a brief description and list of majors that are available within that focus. If you see one (or maybe two) that seem interesting to you, please schedule a time to meet with an academic advisor to discuss the major requirements and to see if it is the ideal choice for you.
