Are you a student with creative talents? We are looking for the next class t-shirt design! All freshmen for the incoming class of Fall 2024 are able to submit up to two designs, designs will be voted on by the entire class and the winning design will be featured on the official class t-shirt, banner, and more! The winning designer will receive a $100 scholarship. Review the contest guidelines below, and be sure to submit your design by June 28, 2024.

Entry Requirements:

• Entry must be submitted by an incoming first-year Griffon who is committed to Missouri Western State University for the Summer or Fall 2024 semester
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Limit of 2 entries per student

Design specifications:

• Design should follow the theme of “Class of Respect” and incorporate the phrase somewhere in the design.
• The design must be produced in design software and submitted electronically in .pdf format (designs using online t-shirt design tools will not be accepted)
• Art is limited to one side of a shirt created to fit within a 12” x 10” area
• Maximum of two colors, which should follow the MWSU brand (brand guidelines:  https://www.missouriwestern.edu/brand/brand-guide/)
• Must be an original, unpublished work produced for the Class of Respect T-shirt Design Contest.  Designs must be original to the student entering the design. No part of the design may be designed by a third party.  The use of third-party licensed materials is expressly prohibited.
• Submissions using the MWSU logo or other brand elements must be consistent with MWSU’s brand guidelines.  

Prize:

• $100.00 Scholarship to be applied to student account
• Griffon Prize Pack

By submitting a design to the 2024 Class of Respect Design Contest you:

• Agree that your submission satisfies the entry requirements outlined above.
• Agree your design is your own complete original design created for the 2024 Class of Respect design contest.
• Agree that the failure to comply with these terms and conditions will result in your disqualification.
• Grant permissions for your design to be used by MWSU including, but not limited to, the website, the Class of Respect T-shirt and future marketing materials of MWSU.
• Grant Missouri Western State University the right to modify the design including, but not limited to change the design’s image size, ink color, T-shirt color, editorial adjustments, or any other modification necessary to comply with MWSU’s Brand Guidelines.
