No. It is actually preferred that you only submit on application per semester that you are applying. You can always edit your current application if there has been a change.
Official transcripts are required for all students. To be official, your secondary school transcript must come directly from the institution on a verifiable email or mailing address. Gmail is not acceptable. Missouri Western State University cannot accept transcripts submitted by the student.
Any student that has completed post-secondary work outside of the United States will have to have their credentials evaluated by a NACES member company. Our recommendation is The Evaluation Company or WES.
Students must submit their applications to Missouri Western State University, pay the application fee, and submit official transcripts before we would consider requesting a waiver from Duolingo.
Yes, all first-year undergraduate international students are eligible to receive our Global Griffon Guarantee that is automatically applied once you have been accepted. It is based on your grades received in your secondary school and only covers a percentage of tuition. Transfer students can also qualify for the Griffon Transfer Scholarship that is also automatically applied upon admission. You can view our cost and scholarships page for more information.
An I-20 is an official immigration document that must be submitted by Missouri Western State University on the student’s behalf. You must follow the application checklist completely to obtain your I-20. You will then use the I-20 to obtain a visa at your local US Embassy. You will not be allowed into the United States without a valid I-20 and visa.
Visa interviews may take several months to schedule depending on what country you are applying from. if you are denied your visa or are unable to obtain a visa interview before the date listed on your I-20, you can defer your application to the following semester.
