Each new international student is required to attend International Student Orientation at the beginning of their first semester. A make-up session is not available.

August International Student Orientation Agenda Outline:

• Tuesday – International student arrival day at Kansas City International Airport. Please see Step 5 of the Pre-Arrival Checklist.
• Wednesday – International Student Orientation Day at Blum Union. Bring required documents listed on Step 4 of the Pre-Arrival Checklist. Expect a variety of sessions on campus resources, international student regulations, and anything else necessary for a successful start at Missouri Western. We will also go shopping on this day for groceries and other needed items. Check your email for more specific information. 
• Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – Griffon Edge. It’s a unique, extended orientation course designed to give incoming freshmen and transfer students a head start, or an “edge,” on their Missouri Western experience. 
• Monday – Classes start!
