The women’s soccer team under Coach Chad Edwards finished its 2012 season with a 6-9-1 overall record and 4-7-1 in MIAA play, including two straight victories to end the season.
The team earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America’s Team Academic Award for the 2011-12 academic year. The women finished with a 3.02 grade point average, earning the award after placing above the 3.0 GPA mark. This is the third year in a row and the fourth time in the past five years that the soccer team earned the award.
