Director of athletics Josh Looney named Eric Kramer associate director of athletics for compliance and sports administration last fall.

Kramer had served as the associate director of athletics for internal operations and academics 2014-15, assistant athletic director for compliance and academics 2011-14, and the compliance and academics coordinator 2007-11. Since 2015, he was serving as an academic advisor in the Western Institute.

Kramer received his BSBA in Business Management from the University of Missouri and an M.Ed. in Sport Administration from Wichita State. The position came open after the departure of Natasha Oakes who became the senior associate director of athletics for compliance at the University of North Texas.

“We are excited to welcome Eric back into the athletics family,” Looney said. “As we moved through the search process, Eric’s tremendous reputation throughout campus and proven success at MWSU continually stood out among a competitive field of candidates. His positive working relationships with our current coaches and administrators will be a great asset to our leadership team and entire department.”

“I am extremely excited to come back to the Missouri Western athletic department,” Kramer said. “The coaches, staff and student athletes are some of the best in the country, and I can’t wait to work closely with them. Griffon Athletics is such a special place and I feel fortunate to be a part of their continued growth and successes.”
