Missouri Western offers a wide variety of scholarships for all of its students. The Center for Military & Veterans Services scholarship is meant to provide funds to military students on the basis of excellence in academics, financial need, leadership, diversity, service, etc. or a combination of multiple factors in order to assist them with furthering their academic goals.

Applicants must meet all of the eligibility requirements listed below and submit the completed application postmarked no later than February 1 for the Spring Semester and September 15 for the Fall Semester.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Be a Veteran (with a discharge status other than dishonorable), current service member, National Guardsmen, or Reservist
  • Proof of military status (Ie. DD214, NGB 23, Certificate of Eligibility, or Memo from your commander stating you’re a member of your unit in good standing)

Award Amount:

  • $500
  • Limited number awarded
  • Only available to students at the beginning of the semester
  • May receive Center funds in addition to other MWSU scholarships
