The General Testing Center provides proctoring for MWSU students needing to take a make-up exam due to personal or immediate family health issues, death in immediate family or other situations beyond the student’s control. Taking a final exam early does not qualify as a make-up exam.
Every effort should be made to schedule exams within your department before requesting this service.
If you are an MWSU instructor needing to schedule a make-up exam for a student, please fill out the Make-up Exam Request form by clicking on the button below and submit it. The Testing Center will contact the student to select and confirm an exam date and time. The General Testing Center is staffed part-time and make-up exams will be scheduled on days when staff is available.
See the General Testing Center Calendar link above to see dates and times when we have other exams scheduled and will be open.
Please try to submit your request at least a day or two before the intended exam time.
Please note: General Testing Center Staff is not responsible for grading exams
Students with Accommodations: Students with accommodations will take make-up exams in the Griffon Testing Center (Eder 203). Their specific information will be on file in the Accessibility Resource Center and staff will be able to provide the appropriate accommodations for these students. The form to request this service is located at https://www.missouriwestern.edu/arc/exam-request-form/
