Missouri Western State University will host a celebration of the Chinese New Year at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11 in the Hoff Conference Room, Blum Student Union room 218. The celebration is free and open to the public.
The celebration will include food, games and culture. Visitors will discover Chinese legends through music and poetry accompanied by traditional Chinese instruments like the erhu and bamboo flute. They will also enjoy samples of traditional Chinese food and activities like paper-cutting, calligraphy, making paper lanterns, dumpling making and puppetry
