The use of geography and mapping to study and solve crime will be the focus of the next talk in the Interdisciplinary Nature of Geography Speaker Series at Missouri Western State University. Dr. Steven Ericson, lecturer in the Department of Geography at the University of Alabama, will speak on “Theoretical and Practical Applications of GIS [geographic information systems] in Crime Research” at noon Friday, April 22, in Spratt Hall, room 201.
The talk is free and open to the public. Attendees may bring their lunch to hear the speaker.
