Aaron Likens, the Autism Ambassador for Easterseals Midwest in St. Louis, will present “Understanding Autism: From the Other Side of the Wall” at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11 in the Kemper Recital Hall, inside Spratt Hall on the campus of Missouri Western State University. The event is free and open to the public.
Likens is the author of “Finding Kansas: Living and Decoding Asperger’s Syndrome.” His is now a sought-after speaker and blogger who is passionate about sharing his insights into this often misunderstood condition.
His appearance is sponsored by the Missouri Western social work program, the University of Missouri’s social work program, and Missouri Western’s Accessibility Resource Center. The event will provide Continuing Education Units.
