Dr. Jody Neathery-Castro, chair of the Political Science Department at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, will present a lecture titled “France, the New Normal” at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17 in Murphy Hall, room 110 at Missouri Western State University. The presentation is free and open to the public.
Dr. Neathery-Castro will give the audience a picture of today’s France, taking into account factors like the economy, the refugee crisis, the rise of the far right and recent terrorist attacks. The presentation, sponsored by the Alliance Française de Saint Joseph and Missouri Western, will be in English.
