Missouri Western State University will host the fifth annual conference on Child Abuse: Education, Prevention and Investigation April 19 and 20. Advance registrations are required by Friday, April 14. The registration form and schedule are available on the conference website.
The conference will be of special interest to educators, law enforcement officers, nurses, social workers, lawyers, juvenile officers and related professions. Registration fees of $45 per day include lunch. Missouri Western students may attend for free, with optional lunch for $10 per day. CEU, POST and CLE credit will be available.
Child Abuse: Education, Prevention and Investigation is sponsored by the Regional Law Enforcement Academy, the Western Institute, the Department of Criminal Justice, Legal Studies and Social Work, the School of Nursing and Health Professions, the Department of Education and the Northwest Missouri Children’s Advocacy Center.
