Missouri Western Athletics is proud to announce a new partnership with Family Center Farm & Home, Carhartt and Club Cadet as the title sponsors of Family Fun Day during 2017 Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp.
Family Fun Day presented by Family Center Farm & Home, Carhartt and Cub Cadet will be Saturday, Aug. 5. Practice that day begins at 8:15 a.m. and features a team autograph session following practice in addition to many other fan-friendly activities. The day has been one of the most highly attended events of training camp since 2010.
“We are ecstatic about this new relationship,” Missouri Western associate director of athletics for external relations Brett Esely said. “In seeking partnerships, fit is key for both sides, and with Family Center Farm & Home’s proximity to campus, their goals and the outstanding visibility opportunity, this is a natural relationship. We look forward to working with these partners for many years to come.”
Family Center Farm & Home opened its St. Joseph location at 1301 Riverside Rd. in September of 2016. The store features a widespread selection of brand name items from saddles to power equipment, including Carhartt and Cub Cadet products.
“Family Center Farm & Home was built around the core value of supporting your local community and serving our neighbors,” Family Center Farm & Home owner Blake Mills said. “This time of year is always an exciting time for Chiefs Fans. We are happy to be a part of it, especially here in St. Joseph and also are proud to support the University.”
In conjunction with camp, Family Center Farm & Home will launch their new FC VIP Loyalty Program which will give fans a unique opportunity not only at the store but with special perks as well.
“We feel like this partnership was the perfect time to unveil our FC VIP Loyalty Program. When fans sign up for this free program, they will be registered to win free special edition Family Center Farm & Home “Football Themed” t-shirt as well as free training camp admission tickets,” Mills said.
A $5 admission fee will be charged for Family Fun Day. Tickets are on sale now at gogriffons.com and will be sold on-site as well.
2017 Chiefs Training Camp presented by Mosaic Life Care opens Friday, July 28.
