The Evasons, an award-winning mentalist duo, will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12 in the Kemper Recital Hall inside Spratt Hall on the campus of Missouri Western State University. The performance is free and open to the public.
From the moment they walk on stage, Jeff and Tessa Evason engage and interact with the audience. People are often speechless when Tessa reveals birth dates, a serial number on any bill in a borrowed wallet or even the name of distant loved ones — all while standing on stage wearing a blindfold.
Since 1983 The Evasons have performed in over 38 countries and on network TV specials in Canada and the USA. They’ve received some of the top awards in their field. In 2017 they were nominated for Stage Entertainers of the Year at the world-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood.
