Olé Music and Dance of Spain will perform at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 26 in the Kemper Recital Hall, Spratt Hall room 101 on the campus of Missouri Western State University. The performance is free and open to the public.
Olé Music and Dance of Spain was formed in Kansas City in 1994 to create appreciation for Spanish dance and music, specifically flamenco. Tamara “La Garbancito” Carson is the founder and artistic director. She has brought together a diverse group of talented musicians and dancers who share her vision of bringing the passion and energy of flamenco and Spanish dance to all communities.
Olé’s performance is presented by Missouri Western’s Department of English and Modern Languages.
