Dr. Peter Dorhout, president of the American Chemical Society, will speak about the recent ACS Safety Summit at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 25 in Agenstein Hall, room 324 on the campus of Missouri Western State University. The presentation is free and open to the public.
Dr. Dorhout will address issues of chemical safety in the laboratory and beyond, and the role that the ACS is playing to improve chemical safety.
In addition to serving as ACS president, Dr. Dorhout is vice president for research and a professor at Kansas State University.
