Feb. 25, 2019—The annual Missouri Regional Industrial Science and Engineering (MO-RISE) networking event will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28 in the atrium of Remington Hall on the campus of Missouri Western State University. More than 200 people have registered to attend, including almost 70 employers.
Students will have the opportunity to meet and network with STEM professionals from across the region for an evening focused on employment, preparing to enter the STEM workforce and professional networking.
There will be a social time with light appetizers starting at 5:30 p.m., followed by panel discussion breakout sessions with regional employers of scientists and engineers from 6 to 7 p.m., and networking time from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
MO-RISE 2019 is presented in cooperation with the Innovation Stockyard and the Missouri Western Career Development Center.
