March 15, 2019—Missouri Western State University students in criminal justice and social work will discuss their recent study abroad experience in Hong Kong at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 21 in the Hoff Conference Room, Blum Student Union room 218. The presentation, “Worlds Apart: A Comparative Study Presentation of the Hong Kong and U.S. Criminal Justice & Social Work Systems,” is free and open to the public.
Students will examine the commonalities and differences between the U.S. and Hong Kong criminal justice and social work systems observed during their trip. The panel discussion will be led by Dr. Gregory Vecchi, assistant professor of criminal justice, and Jana Frye, assistant professor of social work.
