Jan. 27, 2023–The University Gallery inside Spratt Hall at Missouri Western State University will open its new exhibition, “Atmospheres: Works on Paper” from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30. The opening is free and open to the public.
“Atmospheres” features prints that engage with concepts of space, place and emotion. Bailey McCulloch, University Gallery curator, will present a short gallery talk. Light refreshments will be served.
The University Gallery, in Spratt Hall room 211, was established in 2018 to exhibit works from an extensive print collection donated by Dr. Bill Eickhorst, professor emeritus of art, as well as sculptures donated by artist Brent Collins of Gower, Missouri. The gallery is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. There is no admission charge.
