Oct. 2, 2023–The director and producer of the documentary film “Class of COVID-19” will attend a screening and lead a discussion at Missouri Western State University. The screening will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, in the Kemper Recital Hall, Spratt Hall room 101. It is free and open to the public.
“Class of COVID-19” explores the challenges facing educators, students and families during the coronavirus pandemic in the United States. Issues such as the inequities of school resources, student activism during the pandemic and struggles with mental health come to light. The film’s trailer is available at vimeo.com/657951413.
After the movie is shown, director Jon Brick and producer Donna M. Davis will lead a discussion of the film and the issues it raises. The screening is presented by Missouri Western’s Division of Academic Affairs.
