Sept. 25, 2024–In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, Missouri Western State University’s Center for Diversity and Inclusion, in collaboration with the Association of Latin American Students (ALAS), will host the Hispanic Heritage Banquet on Oct. 2, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the Fulkerson Center.

This annual event promises an evening of vibrant culture and celebration. Attendees can hear from distinguished guest speaker for the evening Lisandra Guerra Rodriguez, a world champion and Olympic cyclist, share her inspiring journey and achievements.

The musical talents of the Kansas City Latin Jazz Orchestra will provide lively Latin dance music for the celebration.
