Oct. 4, 2024–Missouri Western State University’s Pop Culture Club will discuss historical stories of hauntings around St. Joseph, Missouri. This event will feature two faculty members, Dr. Ed Taylor and Dr. Evan Hart, who created a podcast after team-teaching a course on the paranormal.
The event will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10 at the Rolling Hills Public Library, 1912 N. Belt Highway. The event is free and open to the public.
Pop Culture Club is a group of students and faculty who present and discuss the ways academics and popular culture mix. Its purpose is to encourage potential and current students, alumni and the general public to engage in academic topics promoting connections between the university and the city.
