Dec. 19, 2024–A dozen cadets will graduate from the Missouri Western State University Law Enforcement Academy during a ceremony at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20 in the Fulkerson Center.
Members of the 63rd LEA class will receive certificates from the academy and badges from their future employers. Captain Mike Hess of the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office will present the keynote address.
Individual cadets will be recognized for their military service, academic achievement, and success in learning various skills in the academy, including firearms training, defensive tactics, emergency vehicle operations and physical training.
