Nominations are being accepted now for the 2016 Roy Blunt Literacy Citation to recognize outstanding literacy volunteers in the community. The winner of the citation will be announced at a special event at Missouri Western State University on March 30.

Any individual, group, business or organization whose volunteer literacy activities benefit the community in a substantial, important or unique way is eligible for nomination. Additional details on eligibility can be found on the nomination form at griff.vn/Blunt. Nominations must be returned no later than 4 p.m. Monday, March 14.

The Roy Blunt Literacy Citation is coordinated through the St. Joseph Adult Education and Literacy Program at the St. Joseph School District and the Western Institute and America Reads program at Missouri Western.
