A poster created by Janelle Anderson, a graphic design major at Missouri Western State University, was accepted for display in the National Student Show and Conference 12, sponsored by the Dallas Society of Visual Communications. The exhibition started April 7 and continues through April 9.
Anderson, a senior from Easton, Missouri, is one of only 14 students nationwide who had a poster or poster series accepted into the poster category of the exhibition. More than 1,400 entries were submitted overall.
Anderson’s poster, “128 Lives,” is a response to the Paris terrorist attacks of Nov. 13, 2015. The poster portrays 128 terrified faces stacked in the shape of the Eiffel Tower.
