Missouri Western State University will host a celebration of China’s Mid-Autumn Festival at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9 in the Enright Community Rooms, Spratt Hall rooms 214-216. The celebration is free and open to the public.
The Mid-Autumn Festival celebrates harvest time and is traditionally celebrated with the gathering of families in thankfulness of what they have. Missouri Western’s celebration will feature poems, songs, gifts and games. The celebration is sponsored by the Department of English and Modern Languages and the Office of International Student Services.
