Dr. Tilo Roy has been selected as the next editor-in-chief of the prestigious newsletter, “The Vasculum”, published biannually by the international scientific society, the Society of Herbarium Curators. Dr. Roy was selected amidst a host of candidates from all across the globe for this voluntary position. She will shadow the current EIC for the time being, and then take over her role formally in May 2022.
Dr. Roy’s research and teaching at Missouri Western closely integrates dried preserved plant specimens (herbarium specimens), and she and her research students are actively involved with various aspects of the Leo A. Galloway herbarium house within the department of biology.
