Health and Physical Education and Recreation Department Scholarship
Three $1,000 ($500 per semester) scholarships will be awarded to HPER majors who meet the following criteria: must be a declared major within the HPER Department, must have completed 45 credit hours, must be an active member of a HPER professional organization, have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above and a HPER major GPA of 3.0 or above and an ACT Composite Score of 20 or SAT Score of 1410.

Jordan Swearngin Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is established in memory of Jordan Brenna Swearngin who passed away in 2015 put was awarded a posthumous degree in Physical Education in 2016. Applicants must be full-time students with a minimum GPA of 2.5 who are in good standing with the university. Preference will be given to applicants who are employees of Cabana in St. Joseph. If no current employees are qualified, preference will be given to students with a physical education major (emphasis in Health and Exercise Science).
