Whitney Davidson (’21) was President of Psi Chi during her time in the Psychology Department at Missouri Western. Since her graduation, she’s worked as a senior research assistant with The Division of Research in Family and Community Medicine at Saint Louis University (SLU). This group supports scholarship, research and innovation that enhances quality of care for SLU patients. As part of this team, she’s managed multiple research projects, engaged in research recruitment, retention, and maintenance, and published/contributed to multiple manuscripts. Whitney was recently admitted to a Clinical Psychology Ph. D. program at Virginia Commonwealth University with an emphasis in Behavioral Medicine. There, she will work with mentors who focus on creating accessible and effective interventions for patients with chronic pain who use opioids!
