The Campus Cupboard is a valuable campus resource that has served many students since its opening in 2015. It was developed through the collaborative efforts of the Rotaract Club, Dr. Elise Hepworth in the Music Dept. and the Division of Student Affairs. The Division of Student Affairs currently oversees the operation of the Cupboard.
The Cupboard is supplied with perishable and nonperishable food items along with some personal care products. This is the result of campus food drives and donations from individuals and business partners as well as student and community organizations.
1. Canned meat (tuna, chicken, spam, etc.)
2. Condensed milk or shelf stable milk
3. Dry goods – pasta, noodles, rice, etc.
4. Peanut butter/jelly/shelf stable spreads
5. Canned soups and shelf stable meals
6. Fruit and/or pudding cups
Got extra meal swipes? Missouri Western is partnered with Swipe Out Hunger to help raise money and awareness for our campus cupboard. Students can donate their flex dollars that don’t roll over at the end of the semester. All these donations go towards the campus cupboard.
