Jessica Frogge, Student Government Association administrative coordinator, won the 2018 YWCA Woman in Support Services award at the YWCA Women of Excellence Luncheon held Thursday, June 21. From the Luncheon program:

“As the 2017 Student Employee Supervisor of the Year, Jessica Frogge is an outstanding employee at Missouri Western State University. In her role, Jessica works with the MWSU Student Government Association (SGA) and maintains positive interpersonal relationships with student leaders and other offices on campus. Jessica excels in productivity and has created consistency, a high level of organization and professionalism for SGA. Jessica is the central communication source for SGA and advocates for the students she works with and their goals. She is also a fierce humanitarian who empowers others and serves as a mentor to MWSU students. Jessica shows students what it takes to work hard and be a voice of advocacy to those who often have no voice.”

Among many professional and civic activities for which she was honored, Sharon served Missouri Western as a founding member of the Arts Society and as a member of the committee that established the Walter Cronkite Memorial.
