The spring 2020 Honors Program Recognition and Awards Ceremony was held via Zoom on May 7. The honors program was officially established in 1987. Since then, over 1,000 students have participated in the program.
Participating in the honors program includes greater interaction with faculty, completing honors classes and outreach experiences, working with students in the Student Honors Organization, Alpha Chi or Honors League and also living on the academic achievement floor of Vaselakos Hall.

Each graduate student that earned a medal had the opportunity to name their most influential professor. The Student Honors Organization (SHO) awarded Dr. Pam Clary as the faculty member with outstanding contributions to the honors program.
