Missouri Western has recently created an information dashboard on the COVID-19 response page. Here you will be able to find total active cases as well as a weekly trend. There is also a link to the Missouri COVID-19 dashboard. Additionally, you’ll find forms for self-reporting a confirmed diagnosis. Any member of the university community receiving a confirmed diagnosis should immediately notify the appropriate offices.
As of publication of this newsletter, our numbers appear to compare favorably with many of our peer institutions, but it is vitally important that we remain vigilant in maintaining physical distance with others, wearing face coverings (required in campus buildings and outside where social distancing is not possible), practicing good hygiene, sanitizing frequently used surfaces and staying home when we feel sick or have a fever.
Please encourage your student to abide by campus guidelines. Our combined efforts will help us keep our campus safe and healthy for everyone.
