Show Me Hope is a statewide program that provides various forms of counseling. The Show Me Hope Program was designed to address the needs of those affected by COVID-19. We serve nine counties including Andrew, Atchison, Buchanan, Clinton, Dekalb, Gentry, Holt, Nodaway and Worth. We currently have seven crisis counselors available to aid in connecting those affected by the virus with local resources to assist in recovery. Our services are free of charge and completely confidential. Our goals are to reduce stress and provide emotional support, educate survivors on healthy coping strategies and find them appropriate resources for their specific needs. We are available to speak to individuals as well as groups. Our office is located inside Family Guidance Center in St. Joseph, Mo.
