The honors program held its spring medal ceremony on May 7. A total of 22 students graduated with general studies honors, two graduated with both general studies honors and majors honors, and one student graduated with majors honors only.

Students earning general studies honors completed a curriculum consisting of six honors-designated general studies courses and three special-topics colloquia, earning grades of A or B in all honors coursework. The general studies honors award appears on the student’s transcript, and the student earns the right to wear the silver honors program medal at graduation.

For majors honors, the students completed six hours of upper-level majors courses pre-approved by the honors director with a research paper. Raechel Tittor was awarded the directors award for her service as a student employee in the honors office. Dr. Teddi Deka was honored for her nine years of service as honors director.
