In Dr. James Carviou’s Fall JOU 202: Reporting for the Media class, students were challenged to create an original TikTok and submit it for a national competition surrounding News Engagement Day. The aim of the contest was to further promote news engagement amongst college students. Chloe Clossum, Sean Davis and Aliza Grooms submitted a TikTok that placed as one of the top five winners for the contest under the video title “We don’t have time for fake news.”
