MLK Pledge Day

Sign a pledge and be in our video to honor Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and nonviolent work by helping make this world a better, more just place for all people.
Wednesday, Jan. 18
MLK Drum Major for Justice Banquet
6 p.m. – Enright Community Room 214-216
Banquet featuring live jazz music by Elder Statesman of KC Jazz’s Little Big Band and live poetry by Dominique Christina. Immediately following we will hold a candlelight vigil on the Kelley Commons

Movie Night: “Selma”

Free popcorn provided.
Despite violent opposition, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (David Oyelowo) and his followers pressed forward on an epic march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama. Their efforts culminated in President Lyndon Johnson signing the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
