On Oct. 13 Missouri Western’s Bowling Club placed second in the Varsity Division at Andy B’s Invitational, hosted by Drury University in Springfield, Mo. Griffon Bowler Dakota Kessler (senior) won the singles title, and Dalton Cook (freshman) finished fifth. The Bowling Club is in its third season. This is their best finish yet, and the first time a Griffon Bowler finished in the top five. Griffon Bowling finished only 15 pins behind the champions, Baker University.
Griffon Bowling also finished 21st out of 32 Varsity teams and 48 men’s teams at the Mid-States Championship Oct. 20-21 in Wichita, Kan., hosted by Newman University. Dalton Cook (freshman) finished 27th in singles and Dakota Kessler (senior) finished 28th out of over 300 competitors.
