The Chess Club welcomed three new members at their September initiation ceremony: Issac Grunig, Jackson Stickler and Abbe Sprouse. Anyone interested in chess is invited to join us every Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the Starbucks in Blum. Club dues are $5 and all levels of skill are welcome.
The Chess Club will host a non-rated chess tournament open to the community at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 in Remington 117. Registration will be held at 10 a.m. in the Remington atrium. The tournament will begin at 10:30 a.m. in Remington 117. The entry fee is $10 for non-members, $5 for members of the Missouri Western Chess Club. We look forward to seeing you all there!
