The residence halls will close for the spring semester at noon on Sunday, May 3. Students who are not graduating will need to be checked-out of their residence hall by their resident assistant 24 hours after their last final, no later than noon on Sunday, May 3. All students should have received an email from their hall director with guidelines for moving out of the residence halls.

Students are asked to leave their rooms clean and in the original room setup. Specific instructions have been emailed to each student. Each student is responsible for their bedroom, while all students are responsible for the common areas.

If your student is enrolled in a summer course or will work on campus over the summer, they may apply for summer housing. Summer housing is $95 per week. The priority housing deadline is April 15 and the application can be accessed on your student’s Goldlink. Transition weekend for summer housing is expected to be held May 14-17. After receiving an approval email, students will move from their current residence hall, or from off campus, into Vartabedian Hall.

Throughout the summer there will be resident assistant, professional staff coverage and 24/7 security. The Commons front desk will also be open. Programs and events will still be held in the halls throughout the summer as well. Dining services on campus will be closed for the summer, but each suite in Vartabedian Hall has a full kitchen. Please remind your student that policies, procedures and the student code of conduct still apply during the summer and can be found here.

New incoming students will see their housing assignments posted in Goldlink and sent via email beginning in June.

If you have a student athlete, your summer housing questions should be directed to their coach.
